Network outage for co-located customers this morning
The gigabit ethernet segment between the switch serving co-located customers and the router stopped working. The switch was rebooted, GBICs replaced, ports swapped, and switch cards swapped all with no effect. We had to replace the switch with a different model Cisco which required reconfiguration of the router and re-tipping of several ethernet connections for customer connections. This process took longer than expected. At this time, all network connections should be back to normal. If you are still experiencing network issues, please contact us.
On a personal note, my Brother, Business Partner, and loyal employee of Getnet, Claude Gong passed away this past Monday June 29. We will be having his funeral this Saturday, July 4th. The viewing will be held from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at the Bethany Community Church on 6240 South Price Road Tempe, AZ 85283. Bethany is easy to access from the Guadalupe Exit of Loop 101. For best results with Internet map services, use the address 6101 S River Drive, Tempe, AZ 85283. A detailed schedule is below:
10:30 AM - Service at Bethany Community Church
11:45 AM - Pallbearers carry out casket
12:00 PM - Travel to Mesa Cemetary. Address is 1212 N. Center Street between Brown and McKellips Road. There will be no funeral escort to the cemetary, so please be sure to travel at a safe speed.
12:30 PM - Arrival at Cemetary.
12:45 PM - Pallbearers carry casket to grave
1:00 PM - Graveside Ceremony
1:30 PM - Lowering of the body
